Regulation 10 “Information, instruction and training” of the Control of Asbestos regulations 2006 places the following mandatory requirement:







  • Every employer shall ensure that adequate information, instruction and training is given to those of their employees who are or who are liable to be exposed to asbestos, or who supervise such employees, so that they are aware of
  • The properties of asbestos and its effects on health, including its interaction with smoking
  • The types of products or materials likely to contain asbestos

General Awareness Training

MAST Consultants Ltd can provide general asbestos awareness training, which is designed to increase the general awareness within the work environment and is particularly relevant to building managers and employees who may be exposed to asbestos during the course of their work. The course can be tailored to the clients specific requirements and will cover the following topics:

    MAST Consultants Ltd can also provide basic practical training in how to remove non licensable asbestos products in accordance to CAR 2006, HSG210 “Asbestos Essentials Task Manual” and HSG213 “Introduction to Asbestos Essentials
